A global logistics company was separating from its larger mother organisation and needed to create a motivating vision of its identity in a new market with new brand expression and detailed brand positoning.

It was essential to success that the staff who were to be part of the new organisation and who had previously seen themselves as part of the wider organisation should see themselves as a specialist team with a clear logistics industry focus.

To achieve this change all staff in the new organisation were engaged in a change programme which embraced all aspects of their working lives from vehicle livery through uniform and buildings decor to customer account management processes and operational work rostering.

Over a period of 18 months the groundwork was laid for a thoroughgoing organisation development programme which created one of the UK and European leaders in distribution and logistics.
